Caplenco was founded in 1987 as a representation and brokerage agency in the edible nuts and dried fruits industry. In 2016, Adelante Foods was established to further expand this agency business. As of April 2026, both companies have merged under the name Adelante Caplenco B.V.
The name Adelante carries two meanings: "after you," reflecting courtesy and service, and "forward," reflecting progress and ambition. Combined with Caplenco, a company with a rich history since 1987 and a strong reputation, this step further strengthens our joint service offering.
We represent suppliers at origin, particularly within the edible nuts and dried fruits sector, serving importers, packers, wholesale and industrial/confectionery markets across Europe. Our goal is to share our network and experience with customers and suppliers, building sustainable supply chains and long-term relationships.
The combination of experience, continuity, and a well-balanced team enables us to further strengthen our service-oriented approach and representation of suppliers at origin.
